“Excellent Place to Stay!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 days ago NEW

There is nothing we can complain about this hotel...it provided us with a perfect stay.

Firstly the location, very close to the Duomo (with a gorgeous view from the patio up on the roof) but the location didn't really matter as in Florence everything was within a twenty minute walk. The hotel is on the third floor, however not a problem, the staff were so helpful and offered to carry our luggage up and downstairs and offered us a drink when we arrived.

This leads on to the staff...they made our stay here, they couldn't do enough for us, guiding our trips on a map, offering alternative places to see that one wouldn't normally visit in Florence and recommending places to eat. You felt that the staff really cared about your stay which was lovely. Breakfast was nice and simple but plentiful too.

The room was basically designed but came with all amenities you could want (apart from tea and coffee making facilities) including a fridge with free wine, snacks and drinks. Lovely touch. Wifi was free and of really good signal.

Overall this hotel offered such a great service for such a reasonable price and great location, we would happily come and stay here again and would recommend it in a heartbeat

Room Tip: Make sure to take a trip up to the patio!

The hotel was so great for the price.
Excellent location, very nice and helpful staff, comfortable rooms and a nice terrace.
Breakfast was ok but not too many options.
Am surprised some of the reviews said u cant see the dome from the terrace. U can see both the dome and all key monuments in florence .
P.s. Its a 3 floor walk up and no elevator.

The hotel was a massive disappointment, from false promises (you can see the Dome from the balcony: our view was the backside of a large house) to bad service (instead of a twin room they only gave us one bed, the TV didn't work the first evening, the WIFI was out for more than one day) and a complete lack of customer orientation: they said they'd give us a better room with a bathroom where you had more than a few feet of space but instead they put us in a worse room with an extra bed which was nothing more but a small camp bed! We paid a lot of money and were truly disappointed. When we asked them to let us go and refund the money they refused saying it was more important to them to have their rooms occupied than for their customers to leave happily. Also, keep in mind you have to walk up 3 flights of stairs - for elderly people this can be really tough! The breakfast was mediocre. And the overall quality of the hotel is not appropriate for 3 stars.

The hotel sits in a perfect location, where you can access central area easily but still be quiet during the night. It is about 20 minutes on foot from the railway station (Firenze SMN). Unfortunately it is on the third floor with very steep stairs and no lift, so it may be an issue for elderly or physically impaired costumers. Nonetheless, this would not stop us returning to this hotel. In addition, on arrival, the staff was readily available and more than willing to help lifting luggage upstairs.
The standard of the room we had was very very good, although soundproofing between rooms could be improved. We were shown immediately the beautiful upstairs terrace for breakfast. Unfortunately the weather, at this time of the year, was not good enough, but we spent many pleasant moments looking at the fantastic Florence skyline.
The alternative for breakfast on the terrace is a very small but homely room behind reception. The breakfast itself was adequate and very well presented.
In general the hotel was excellently clean and we were made to feel very very welcome. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and informative.

We enjoyed this lovely little hotel located a short walk from the centre of Florence. The hotel is three stories high with no lift so it may not be ideal for everyone. The staff are very helpful and friendly (they offer you a beverage on arrival which is always nice) and give great tips on things to see in the city. They serve a lovely basic breakfast with a little bit of everything to get your day started, and serve an evening tea with biscuits after a day of sightseeing. The view from their rooftop is absolutely stunning and watching the sunset is a must.
The only thing we had a problem with was the noise from our neighbours, particularly their toilet. Earplugs are available at the front desk if you need them. Also the view from our balcony was of an empty lot. And our room was a bit chilly despite the heating on, but that could have just been me. Overall we enjoyed our stay at this little hotel and would definitely recommend it to others.

This is a wonderful hotel in a great location for exploring the city it is very comfortable and the decor is modern . This hotel is up five flight of stairs with no lift but this is not a problem the hotel will help with your bags it is worth the extra few steps to see the rooftop view of the Duomo and the rest of the city. The room are of a good size with a comfortable bed the noise from outside at night can be a little annoying but this is not the hotels fault. breakfast is lovely with plenty of choice and you can have tea and biscuits in the afternoon .The staff are friendly and very helpful with great suggestions for restaurants and exploring the city . I would definitely recommend
To others.

Room Tip: Towards the back of the hotel may be less noisy from the street.

In the heart of Florence on a small street, we were charmed the minute we walked through the large wooden door to the inner courtyard. Although the three flights of stairs were challenging, the effort was worth it. The staff is outstanding. The rooms charming. The buffet breakfast fantastic. The terrace has a awesome view of the area. Tremendous value. I would go back.
