Mariangela was a very warm and welcoming host. She spends breakfast at the B&B every morning and is very helpful with any questions and or recommendations. The breakfast itself was the best we had during our 3 week trip in italy and provided a variety of options, not just the usually meat, cheese and pastry that most places offer. We took a cooking class with her and enjoyed it very much (both the interactive shopping for ingredients as well as the cooking of the ingredients).
Concerning the physical location, how "good" it is will vary with the traveler. It is in an area with a large student population and on weekends they can be loud and rowdy. This did not bother us as we tend to stay out later and didn't leave our windows open. This b&b is very close to a large market and is within walking distance to all of the main attractions in the city center. I would recommend a cab to and from the main train station though.
Three of the rooms are very cute and well put together and spacious enough for anyone who doesn't plan on spending a lot of time in their room. The fourth room is on the "top" floor and has a very steep stairwell between the bathroom and the bedroom as well as very low ceilings. This is the room we stayed in. My wife and I are both about 5'8" and could only stand up straight in the center of the room. So if you are tall, claustrophobic, or have trouble with steep stairs, make sure to request one of the 3 other rooms.
