We used Through Eternity extensively on our family trip to Italy in June 2013 and were never disappointed, in fact we were dazzled. In Florence, we had Angelo as our guide to the Uffizi with the small group tour. There were only 5 of us total, our family of 3 and another couple. Angelo made the art in the Uffizi very understandable and manageable, we got a sense of the meaning of the art at the time and in the context of art history. He by far enhanced our experience with his knowledge and passion for the subject. We also did the Florence of the Medici and Accademia and were lucky enough to have Maddalena. It was supposed to be a small group but no one other than our family was there so it was a private tour. Maddalena was again incredibly knowledgeable, like all the guides we had with this company. She had a great personality and made Florence come alive, since there was only our family she was able to tailor things to us directly. We had such a great time we hired her again for a private tour of Santa Croce and the Bargello.
Both Angelo and Maddalena shared inside tips to seeing Florence with help with restaurants, gelato stops and shopping. The personalized experience we had with Through Eternity was amazing and I don't think there is a better way to see the sights of Florence.

Thank you so much for you kind words about your tours with Maddalena and Angelo. Through Eternity is fortunate to work with such wonderful guides who are both experts in history and art, as well as passionate citizens of their city. It sounds as if they helped you to fall in love with Florence too.
We're glad to hear that you appreciated the small group sizes and were even fortunate enough to get a private tour. We deliberately limit our group tours to 9 people so as to offer customers a more personalized touring experience. On the rare occasion that a group tour is composed of just one booking party, the guides relish the opportunity to cater to the clients' particular interests.
