“A wonderful taste of Italy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2013

We had lunch here on our 2nd day in Florence. We enjoyed it so much we went back the next day. It is tiny but the food, wine and service are amazing and authentic. It's so cozy and they make you feel so welcome. I decided to try this spot based on Trip Advisor reviews and I can truly say I'm so glad I did because we loved it. Thank you Trip Advisor and Cacio Vino trallalla.

“Just Go!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 2, 2013

Just got back from the restaurant on our first night here in Florence. It is everything so many people on tripadvisor have written about it, authentic, quaint, warm and friendly. The couple who run it are wonderful, very welcoming and full of good advice on their dishes and wines that will best accompany them. The food was wonderful and yet again tripadvisor has come up trumps. We had a shared starter, three mains, three desserts, 5 glasses of wine, 2 bottles of water, 3 coffees all to the cost of 60 euros. We were embarrassed to pay that so tipped well. Met another young couple who were in Florence for a couple of nights. They went their on their first night yesterday, returned tonight, and intending on having lunch before departing tomorrow........enough said!
Couple of tips, there are only a couple of tables so might be wise to book. Also as someone so rightly pointed out the map on their website doesn't quite right position it. It is on that street but half way along opposite a sign for gastronomia. Street no. 29 in red. Shops have red numbers, residential black numbers. Enjoy!

“Small and othentic”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 1, 2013 via mobile

We read the recomendations and decided to go.
Only two minutes from our hotel, we found this place refreshingly un-touristic.
It is small and very welcoming, cheaper than most other places and very tasty.

“Fantastic restaurant and wine tasting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 1, 2013

I found this place via TripAdvisor application and I can not recommend it enough. The restaurant is a little cosy place, with great ambiance. It is tended by its owners, and it shows. Everything is made carefully, with great taste. I had there a cup of wine recommended by the owner, and it was FANTASTIC. Also the food was great. I really recommend this place, do not miss.

“Perfect”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2013 via mobile

We finally found this restaurant after wandering around for a bit as the map on Trip advisor is wrong, and we are very happy that we did. Don't let the fact that there are only a few tables stop you - the food was amazing. The bruschetta plate was totally unexpected, and was paired perfectly with a very nice Chianti. We then had the salami and cheese plate, and we were walked through the whole plate by the very nice waitress/owner. She was very personable and this added to the great atmosphere. We ended our great dinner with a cappuccino and a dessert tasting, and our bill was surprisingly low for the quality and quantity of food we received. Absolutely Perfect. Try to make it a bit early as this place fills up early. We had no reservation, and there were people waiting as we left. Well worth it and a great find in Florence!
