It's a pity this restaurant considers itself a steakhouse (I am vegan). Other than that it was one of the best overall restaurant experience. It specifically caters for vegetarians and if vegan like myself just say you are; they will be very happy to help you out either by guiding you through the choices and/or making changes to the dishes to make them vegan.
The menu was varied, and items looked delicious. The ingredients tasted fresh. I had the pappa al pomodorol; typical tuscan, vegan and incredible!
The best part of the experience was the lovely host; very helpful, very knowledgeable about tuscan and vegan food, provided us very helpful information on florence, and tuscany. She even gave us a map and marked a few recommended sites on it.
Make sure to give yourself time to enjoy and savour the time there. Unfortunately we had to visit a museum after an hour there, so we could not chat or longer or have dessert. Would have loved to.
