The Bed & Breakfast Relais Il Campanile has beautiful accommodations; is centrally located (between the Duomo, Straw Market, Academy and the Uffizi Museum. Furthermore, the hotel is very reasonable priced!

The rooms are very comfortable and the Staff is nothing less than wonderful. Sara was extremely helpful during the reservation process; however, once we arrived she became our personal tour director. She was able to provide support making Museum reservations; she recommended restaurants that provide exceptional food at a good price; but, most importantly she is extremely friendly and she knows the city of Florence very well and was able to provide several site recommendations that were both interesting and in-line with what my family was looking to see.

The owner of the hotel is a genuinely decent man who continues to talk about planned improvements for the hotel; though the rooms were very reasonably furnished and equiped (Television, phone, Air Conditioning). He was also very friendly and helpful with both site and restaurant recommendations.

Overall, our family is very interested in returning to Florence and when we do; we will certainly stay at the Relais Il Campanile.

This bed and breakfast is in one of the prime locations in Florence and walking distance all the markets, squares and attractions.

The staff was very accommodating and helpful, in terms of finding good places to eat, tour and walk.

The rooms and bathrooms were clean and the beds were just as clean and comfortable. It was like having the luxuries of an expensive hotel at a bed and breakfast price.

The complimentary breakfast also has a great assortment of pastries with a decent selection of juices and coffees.

Overall, the trip was very memorable - mostly because of the execllent accommodations. Highly recommended.

We loved Florence and staying here made it even better. Relais Il Campanile was absolutely charming! We loved this B&B, most especially its location (it was walking distance to everything). We even had a view of the Santa Maria from our room. We really wish we could've stayed longer. Sara, who welcomed us with a lovely smile and a ton of information, was fantastic. We had dinner at Za'Za, a restaurant she recommended, which turned out to be our favorite restaurant on our 10 day trip to Italy. The food was fantastic and inexpensive. We definitely will come back to visit Sara and will stay at Relais Il Campanile when we return to Florence!

We've just come back from a short break in Florence, staying at the Relais Il Campanile and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great place for a great price. The location was excellent, just a minute's walk from the Duomo and only a 10 minute walk from Santa Maria Novella train station. The staff were really helpful and friendly - as soon as we arrived Paolo got a map out and showed us the best places to visit and to eat and he also helped us to find out train times for our trip back to the airport. The breakfast in your room was a nice touch and we appreciated being able to choose the time that it was served (up to 10am) as you want to be able to relax on holiday. The room was clean, the bed was very big and comfy and the bathroom was good with a great shower. The air conditioning worked fine, although the 'off' button seemed to be broken so we had to leave it on all the time, which seemed a bit of a waste. Otherwise, everything was great and made for a wonderful, relaxing holiday.
