“Excellent place to sit, sip and relax!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2012

My husband and I spent 4 days in Florence and went to La Prosciutteria 3 times!! The atmosphere and service is excellent. We would sit and sip on "Gigantico" wines watching people and the activities going on in the street. We felt like we were truly experiencing the life in Florence. We did not eat here as we had other plans, but we noticed the fresh meat platters being served to others which looked very good. We would highly recommend this place to sit back and take in the culture as it is very friendly and relaxing. Truly enjoyed ourselves here.

“Excellent little restaurant in the heart of Florence!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2012

My daughter and I "stumbled" upon this adorable quaint restaurant on our first night in Italy! I noticed people sitting out drinking glasses of wine and thought, "How inviting!". We decided to go in and luckily were able to get a table. One glass of wine each turned into three each! The cheese and prosciutto were excellent!! The atmosphere is warm and charming as is all of the staff. We returned on our last night in Florence because we so enjoyed the first time there. If I ever return to Florence, Italy I will make it a point to stop here again

“Your best bet for a pork and cheese coma”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2012

To avoid stuffing yourself beyond comparison, get one board for two people with two glasses of wine. Sit outside and let all the people walking by gape at your feast.
