For the week-end for our twentieth wedding anniversary, we were looking for the very top place to stay in the very top city. We have'nt been desappointed indeed by Firenze Number Nine. A warmly reception, the overall staff is cheerfull; a modern, up to date and high level design decoration, calm and large room, large bed; gorgeous breakfast; nearly at a foot step to the Duomo. Good fare for the car park compared to others; What else to ask for ? Nothing. Thank's ever so much for all that. Sure we'll be back !

This hotel is really hard to fault and I can easily see why it is so well regarded even though it is a newcomer to the Florence hotel scene. It is very well located, 500m from the main train station and all of the main Florence sights are within a c500m walk (1km max). The hotel is sleek and clean yet quite warm. There is an excellent gym and spa in the hotel. Rooms are big, modern and well maintained. The shower was powerful and enormous. The area around the hotel was quiet at night permitting a good nights sleep. Staff were very friendly and helpful, even sorting out an airline dilemma I had. Breakfasts were nice, if a bit heavy on the cakes and pastries. More fruit variety might be nice. A nice touch to include mini bar contents in the room rate (assuming I understood this correctly)! Don't bother looking elsewhere!

When I began my search for a hotel in Florence I was a bit overwhelmed by the number of hotels available. Firenze Number Nine really stood out as being modern but full of character. Having looked at Tripadvisor most people commented on the size of the rooms and how big they were. I have to say the hotel did not disappoint in any way! The room was huge and split over two levels and all the reviews and photos were spot on. Its an amazing hotel and a great size bearing in mind it’s a city hotel. The location is perfect, only a 4-5 minute walk from the station and 3 minute walk to the Duomo. The hotel is also located on a quiet side road with limited car access, noise during the day and at night was not a problem.

The staff couldn’t do enough for us. Chiara was so helpful and friendly and helped us to work out a walking route to take in all the sights and recommended some perfect restaurants. They all spoke great English and provided us with a great welcome. Given the chance I would book this hotel again and again, we loved it. Patriza in the spa, was so lovely! Thank you to her for a lovely facial and coffee :)

Absolute center of the action in Florence. Calming interior and decor, pleasant staff and that special something... everything a boutique hotel should be. The breakfast is above the Italian norm and the food available is way above average.
