“Magnificent!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 28, 2012

Firenze Number Nine is a wonderful hotel! I was on a short weekend trip to Florence and therefore was only able to enjoy it for one night. My room was very elegantly furnished, comfortable, and commanded a view of the dome of the Medici chapel. Located only two or three minutes by foot from the train station it is literally close to everything. Yet at the same time it is on a side street and therefore very quiet. The Spa is the perfect addition to this lovely hotel. I would recommend it to anyone staying in Florence for any amount of time. I certainly hope to be able to stay there again.

Room Tip: My room was wonderful. I did not see the other rooms but my impression is that all of them are very...

We stayed in Firenze Number Nine for 2 nights. The location is very central, literally in the middle of everything. Very warm welcome by the receptionist who was very helpful with all the inquiries we had during our stay. Our room was on the 1st floor, very spacious, with beautiful marble floor and frescoes on the ceiling - a very unusual mix of ancient and new, we liked it very much.

Little point deductions are a very challenging TV operation, recetpion was sometimes bad or even disappeared; the breakfast room is a little dark, especially at the tables (this would be a great setting for dinner but at breakfast a little more light would be good); and once the restrooms near the breakfast room had no toilet paper and no soap at one of the sinks.

In general, i think every new hotel needs some time to settle until everything improves to the best possible level. With the staff working there I think Firenze Number Nice has very good chances to achieve a very high standard.

I would definitely stay there again.

What a hotel! We were upgraded to a junior suite- wow! The room was HUGE, very new and quite, with a every comfy King size bed! The staff were superb and extremely helpful and friendly. The buffet breakfast was great- slight changes every morning- nice touch! We also had dinner one night- very good! As a seasoned traveler- I highly reccomend this hotel, be it for business or pleasure. Great location!

All was great aside from pblms w satellite television.
My room was a little bit noisy (big ventilators outside) but my bed was far enough so it was not too disturbing. My single bed room was surprinly roomy and comfortable.
Great location, 2 mins from station and walking distance to everything you want to see in Florence.
Staff is super friendly, I felt at home. The hotel is truly beautiful and it is brand new and as all modern utilities and alleluia, free wifi everywhere!
Go without hesitation.

this is one of the best hotels i've ever stayed in, Spacious room, literally Spacious room not Europe style Spacious, extremely clean, breakfast Buffet was great, one of the best fitness centers I've ever saw, even better then private fitness centers and above all this has a great location, can be simply described as a hidden palace in the center of Florence, about two minutes from the Duomo and yet you don't feel the crowd.

the service is more than great, reception desk made the stay more enjoyable with all the recommendations and guidance.

i will definitely visit Florence again and definitely stay in the same place.

This is a brand new hotel and the staff is fabulous - if you see Monika she is the best! We were upgraded to a suite for our stay. They knew that we were on a special trip and went out of their way to make us happy and comfortable. there is a spa connected to the hotel and if you have the time - I highly recommend it
we would stay here again and we hope to soon

We visited Florence for 4 nights last month and were fortunate to have found this hotel. The location was the main reason we chose to stay there and it proved to be just perfect. It is only an easy short walk (5 mins) from the main railway station so there is no need to get a taxi. Almost all visitor attractions are within 10 minutes walking distance with the Medici Chapel just around the corner and the main Cathedral area only a couple of minutes away. There is plenty going on in the area with markets and restaurants yet the hotel is on a quiet street.
The hotel is quite new and beautifully decorated throughout. There were a few minor problems which are being addressed by the management, though nothing to spoil a most enjoyable time. Our superior room had the latest TV/ Multimedia set which though not yet operating at full capability I was able to use for TV/Internet/email. If you have your own device there is free wi-fi in all areas. There were some complimentary drinks in the minibar and a safe. The bed was magnificent and very comfortable. The bathroom was large with a wet room / shower and the air conditioning efficient and quiet. The food at breakfast was really good and set us up for the day. There is a Spa/Gym though we did not have time to use it. What made the stay most enjoyable though was the service provided by the staff. All the reception and bar staff spoke perfect English and were the most welcoming, polite, and friendly hotel personnel I have come across for many years.
