“Not the norm but amazing food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2014 via mobile

I'll admit I felt guilty sitting In a restaurant that wasn't your cliche ol Italian whilst visiting Florence but for anybody questioning I can safely say this place is not to be missed

Surprising service , modern homages to classic flavours whilst keeping the integrity of the past and produce.

I didn't even blink at the cheque at the end , I had 3 courses with wine and muscat At the end and it was easily one of the best meals I've had in Florence.

Be sure to book

Thanks a lot Benjamin for your review about Touch Florence restaurant. Touch is a modern restaurant in the heart of Florence city center: in our concept, food and ambience we would like always to keep in mind a rule to follow: try to satisfy all the customer while offering them recipes from italian tradition but with a modern twist.
Your words "this place is not to be missed" is a real satisfation for us and we thank you to spending your time to leave such a fantastic review.
Hope to see you again if you have the opportunity to come back to Florence. Have a good day, Stefano.

“Definitely fun, original and tasty”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2013

it is definitely cool ordering on the iPod with the very well done pictures that give you a clear idea. And the free prosecco and amuse-bouche were appreciated. Everything was good without a doubt. we thought the crab milanese cutlet simply lacked the crustacean taste but was well exectued. The gnocchi with tender octopus well conceived and well executed and delicious. The mains were mantis shrimp that simply do not have much to eat on them, though they were plentiful and fresh. the 'crudo' of seafood was wonderful if you appreciate raw langoustines (Norway lobster) and rare( outside of Italy and Spain) red shrimp from Viareggio, as fresh as can be, garnished with lemon super olive oil and soy sauce. Italy meets Japan.
The wine list is so much fun to work with, region by region on a map of the whole country. We chose an wine unknown to us, a sauvginon blanc from Alto Adige, very nice. Dessert wines also well chosen.
Desserts original and tasty, a "mojito" ice cream parfait and a bavarois...
139 euros for two though you must bear in mind that the crudo of shellfish was 30 euros and by far the most expensive dish, but worth it.
All the staff are very kind and efficient and interested in what you have to say.
Lastly, aesthetically designed toilets....

“Wow!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2013 via mobile

Well, what can say apart from this restaurant is fantastic, not only in its food, concept & environment but also in the fact that the service was second to none.
It's a small intimate place so it's probably advisable to book in advance as it does get very busy.
The ipad concept is original and at least this way you know exactly whats on your plate and how it will look.
But more importantly the food is cooked and presented with love. These chef(s) sure do know how to create little plates of masterpieces. We were completely blown away by all aspects of our evening here, and would have no problem recommending it to all and sundry. In fact if your in Florence it would be rather amiss of you NOT to eat here.
It's more high end food than the traditional trattoria but hey ho we all require different needs and different foods at different times.
Try it for yourselves.

Thanks a lot for your review! It is a real pleasure realize that people have really enjoyed their own experience at Touch restaurant. Touch Florence would like to be a modern trattoria: a place where you will you feel at home while eating modern style dishes (keeping tradizional values, ingredients and concept but with sometimes a fusion twist). Hope to see you again when you have tha opportunity to come back to Florence. Thanks again for your deep recommandation, have a good day! Stefano

“Lovely birthday meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2013 via mobile

We ate there last night and the food and wine was delicious. We were brought glasses of prosecco when we sat down as well as a pre-appetiser. The food tastes and looks superb and the red wine they recommended was just right. The restaurant is a short walk from the Duomo.

“The Ipad is great and the food is magnificent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 3, 2013 via mobile

If you see check my other reviews, you'll see I usually do not get crazy about the place I eat. This is the exception. The salads were great, the pasta course ( zucca ravioli) was superb and my truffled lamb chops were absolutely perfect. Oh yeah, the wine recommended by one of the owners, was also dead on.
This is a tiny placeup a side street, owned and run by three young chefs, Max, Matteo and Steffano. These partners are all about good service and great tasting food. Their excitement and skill comes through in everything they served and we really had a wonderful meal and a fun evening.
Thanks guys!
We have eaten in all the big name and popular places in this end of town, and none come close. So yourself a favor, and eat here.
