“Great concept”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013 via mobile

Very friendly young blokes serving a quality Italian menu. Love the iPad gimmick, add an option to add dishes and bottles to your order to simplify the final communication! Great steak here, cooked perfectly. Look for the quirky modern wonders picture.

Thanks a lot for your review: we really appreciate the time you have spending writing about our restaurant. The bistecca (controfiletto to be precise) is one of our best dish: the reason of this success stay behing the quality of the meat we are using that goes togehter with the deep chef's experience with tuscany recipes. Have a nice day and thank you again, Stefano

“Surprise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013

From the outside it did not look like the typical Florence restaurant and it is not. However the food and hospitality was excellent.

Check it out very fun.

“Good menu and food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2013

Food, wine and service all good. iPad novelty interesting but not compelling. Location a bit nondescript. Restaurant only seems to attract tourists. Too bad as the food is quite good as was the wine list. Reasonable value and good service.

“Excellent restaurant, lovely atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2013 via mobile

Modern, elegant yet relaxed and friendly restaurant run by a couple of young guys that have clearly done their homework in how to run a good restaurant. They seem to have paid a lot of attention to detail. Fom the iPad that displays gloriously their menu to the decor of the restaurant and even the bathrooms are beautiful with individual towels for your hands. It is perfect for a candle lit romantic dinner.

Now the food. Nicely presented, well cooked and quite delicious, it certainly lives up to the price paid. It is slightly fusion rather than fully traditional Italian but that's a great change if you've spent days eating pasta non stop.

The service is attentive, friendly and the staff speak excellent English. In fact I suspect they have travelled extensively and have seen how others run successful restaurants and that is reflected in everything they do.

This is one of the better restaurants in Florence so do check it out.

Thanks a lot for time you spent to leave a very important review about our restaurant. Your words get exactly to the most important points: ambients have been thought to be warm and modern at the same time; iPad menu help us to garantee freshness and to easily change the menu. We confirm that our business idea comes out because of our personal experience abroad: we decided to come back to Florence because we love Italy and at the same time we would to give a modern "Touch" in the catering world. We are proud of your satisfaction and we thank you again for precious time dedicated. Stefano

“Touch, One Direction”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2013 via mobile

Touch has all the makings of a fantastic dining experience, but behind the beautifully photographed iPad menus and the promise of culinary heaven Touch fails to deliver. The waitress service is deadpan and borderline rude, the chefs choice menu is confusing and pricey. When eventually presented with your meal, following a series of over priced antipasto dishes, the food is ok, no wow reductions to delight the pallate or presentations to amaze, just plain cooked food. The idea of an iPad menu is good but when a child on a neighbouring table is allowed to play with it during your meal and you are treated to the sound of One Direction videos being YouTubed into your dining experience I'm afraid theres only one Direction you should be taking and that's the opposite one.

Thank you for this personal review about your experience at Touch: first of all we apologize if service does not appear to be friendly as always it is (people on tripadvisor has confirm this point many times) and for the youtube noise. Every day we spend all our energy and deep passion to take care of all our guest: I remember well your meal and I can confirm you have enjoyed food: maybe the presentation of the "Chef's Table" was not perfectly exaustive. Chef's Table is a creative menu (not a simple fixed price menu): we have to options, "Gourmet" & "Touch" Dining Experience goes at 30 and 35 euros respectively. That price includes food: Starters, Main and Dessert (the gourmet option has Pasta course as main course). The reason why we usually suggest the Chef's Table is because it is a creative menu, that goes outside the borderline set up by the daily menu and can guarantee an exceptional culinary experience.
