We stayed in florence for 2 nights and had a very pleasant stay..The hotel is within walking distance to all the sights and the train station which was very convenient. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was very good.I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to other travelers.

Very nice hotel, situated in downtown Florence. All the main sites are within walking distance (for normal healthy persons). Hotel has on-site parking available(22€ p.day), however you have to request space with the booking.
The rooms are tidy, spacious, with a large bathroom and sufficient waterpressure available.
Free internet in the room via a cable (which is behind the tv). In the lobby there is wireless available.
Also available are bikes for rent (12€ full day), very convinient to get around the town fast, if you are used to/can handle the traffic.

Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is nice. It's very close to the train station, so it's perfect for anyone travelling by train. We had 2 rooms - our first one had a TINY bathroom. Second one was much better.
Staff was really great - but the location left a little to be desired. There was nothing around it - a couple of restaurants - that's it.
The hotel itself does not have a restaurant.
One great thing - they have SKY DISH which offers ENGLISH TV. Kinda spoled us for the rest of our trip.

we stayed for 4 nights in "Adler Cavalieri@. Everything was excelent (big room, big bathroom with toiletries, nice breakfast buffet, friendly service, clean and cosy). As location, every attraction is within walking distance. If you want to go to Pisa, take a train from the Santa Maria Novel railwaystation (2 minutes from hotel). You have 2-3 trains per hour. Buy your ticket for return as well, so you can take any train you want. Just do not forget to validate your ticket on the platform befor boarding the train (yellow validating machine). Arriving to Pisa (about 1 hour and some minutes), buy bus ticketa (1 euro for 1 journey) at a tobacco shop in the station, than cross the street and take LAM ROSSO bus (bus stop in front of a hotel). this bus will take you to Campo dei Miracoli, where you find everything interesting in Pisa (leaning tower, dom, baptistery, grave yard). Take the same bus back to the railway station (bus station opposite side of the road). If you do not want to queque at Uffizzi, ask the reception to book your visit. yoiu'l pay the reservation, but no waiting for hours in front of the museum ! ask anything you need from the reception desk ! for sure they will do their best for you ! If I ever go back to Florence, i'l choose this hotel again !
