There isn't one thing that I would change in this Hotel. The service was warm, understated yet ever present. The design of the suites was beautiful, everything looked liked a well maintained private home.The staff answered "yes" to every request we had and really listened to what we were asking for. Breakfast was the usual sumptious buffet and even had freshly cooked eggs if you wanted. Apperitivo and snacks all day were included.It was our first time in Italy and they made sure it will not be the last.

JK Place is an absolutely fabulous hotel, just like staying in a luxurious home. Unlike the typical hotel, there is no huge lobby. Instead, one walks into the entry of a large home, with several public rooms on the ground floor. The reception area is just an office off the entry corridor. Breakfast is served in what could be a dining room, in which the buffet is located. There is a large dining table, which permits family-style dining, which we enjoyed. For those guests who would like more privacy or intimacy, there is a separate room with small tables. On the ground floor, there are two separate rooms, one of which was a reading room and the other (a larger room) was a restaurant where we ate lunch and enjoyed wine in the afternoons.

Our room (No. 24) was on the top floor (4th floor) and was a two-level room. The entry level was the bedroom area, and the upper level was the spacious bathroom. The bedroom had plenty of storage space for our clothes (which was needed as we were traveling in Europe for more than 3 weeks). The bathroom was superb, brightly lit, with a double sink and lots of storage space for toiletries. There was a separate room for the toilet, bidet and shower. Notably, the shower, which could accommodate two adults at the same time, had both a “rain shower” showerhead and a hand-held shower attachment. The bathroom was an unusual bit of luxury.

The hotel staff were incredibly accommodating. Buffet breakfast was provided on the ground floor. In addition, the hotel also provided breakfast in our bedroom at no charge, an amenity which we enjoyed.

In my opinion JK does something that is extremly hard to do - it creates a luxury experience without being stuffy - in fact its relaxed style and warn friendly attentive , bright staff , made our stay extremly memerable and fun ; All in an atmosphere that is exudes sophistication - it's very chilled & relaxed.

We have 3 kids aged between 4 and 15 and it really worked for them too . If you want something really special and don't mind investing in memories , then JK is for you.

J.K. Place is one of the most elegant, comfortable and welcoming hotels I've ever stayed in. I can't say one negative word about it. Unfortunately, we learned about the rooftop lounge the morning we were leaving, but would've loved to have had a nightcap there. Florence is magnificent, only enhanced by a stay at J.K. Place.
