“Wow! Best food, best wine and the best service!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2013 via mobile

Me and my girlfriend went here for a quick bite to eat and maybe a quick drink but we ended up staing for 4 hours due to the amazing food, wine and the helpful / funny owner! I would recommend anyone visiting florence to spend a few hours in this brilliant shop / wine bar! The cold cuts and cheese are to die for...ask for the truffle cheese it has been hand delivered from heaven! All at a very reasonable price! PERFECT

“Just Amazing!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2013 via mobile

Il bufalo trippone is a nice food store in the city centre. If you wanna take a break and have a good glass of wine, this is the right place for you. In addition, you can find many different typical Italian products: chianti, pesto, limoncello, pasta, biscuits. The price is really good and you can find some great deals. If you have time then, try a wrapped panino with mortadella or salame. The guy who runs the shop is really friendly and helpful. In conclusion, this is the best place, the food is delicious and cheap. Enjoy Il bufalo trippone guys.

“Excellent food store”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2013 via mobile

I make it a point to visit this store every time I am in Florence. Service is always extremely helpful and friendly, which is by no means always the case in stores so close to the major tourist centers. I've bought brunello, chianti, grappa, limoncello, pesto, oil, vinegar and pasta from this store. I've always been entirely satisfied by the price, product, and service. They also wrap stuff for you so it will be easier to travel. Great store.

“A Great Find!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 29, 2013

A fun place to take a break and have some wine a great panini. The store is filled with many different wines and delectable items to purchase. If you are undecided on what to put together for a panini, just ask, Alessandro will make you something wonderful! We also bought some of his food items to bring home with us (which we highly recommend). If you are unsure of how to use any of his sauces or other food items, he will explain to you the best way to use them in detail. This added to the wonderful experience of visiting his store. You will not regret making this a stop when visiting in Florence!

“Incredibly tasty, incredibly cheap”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2013 via mobile

This place is the best. We had lunch here today and it was amazing. It's probably the best meal I've had in Italy and also the cheapest. A sandwich (with cheese and spread) and a liter of water cost me 6 Euros. It was so good that all four of us unanimously decided to come back for dinner. Alessandro (the owner's son) is the man. We bought wine and sandwiches with the intention of bringing it back to our hostel. It started raining so we decided to stay. Best decision. Alessandro was letting us sample all of the different cheeses, meats, and spreads. 3/4 of us decided to ship goods from there back to the USA, and if you eat there you will want to do the same. They offer great oils, spreads, wines, and pastas you can ship directly from the store. Alessandro is the man, and he'll give you great local intel. We will probably eat our third meal in a row from there tomorrow and get some extra sandwiches for our trip to Venice.
