Super small hotel individual and charming
Friendly helpful staff give excellent service
Easy frequent bus to city centre and SMN station
The view of Florence travelling in compensates for being out of the centre
Authentic good restaurant adjacent
Fabulous ice cream shop and supermarket nearby

We booked 3 nights here and the rooms were very comfortable, clean, and well appointed. Will stay again next trip. Monica the owner was extremely knowledgable and helpful in all our planning. Excellent breakfasts and tea rooms. As well as aperitifs and cookies.

A fantastic small hotel, 30 mins walk or short bus ride to the river or piazza Michelangelo. The location might not be central, but staying a little further outside from the centre meant amazing value for money and gave the opportunity to sample a local area. The hotel was easy to get to (the 23 bus from the station).

The room was spacious, nicely furnished and super clean. The furnishings around the hotel were gorgeous - including a beautiful lounge area with a small 'help yourself' spirit bar and afternoon tea. Breakfast was in a small dining room and the food choice was good (juices, yoghurts, breads, cheese, meats, pastries and cakes). A great team of friendly and helpful people.

The pizzeria next door was superb for dining in and for takeout.

Overall, I would most definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying again.

This place delivers what it says ..go for it if you are looking for a cozy, charming little place in Florence. What it lacks in luxury and comforts is more than compensated by the hospitality of the host. The owner is a very helpful lady and more than happy to go out of the way to assist with any tour advice /arrangements required. They also do great breakfast and we absolutely loved the homely feel of it.

This hotel is about 30 mins stroll from the Ponte Vecchio. Alternatively, several frequent bus-routes will whisk you there in 5 minutes. Parking available at E9 per night is located across the main road and in Florence, this is reasonable and useful.
Reception is on the first floor as were our rooms. Booking in was painless and pleasant. The rooms were medium in size, well maintained and full of character. All the facilities were in full working order. A comfortable small tea-room (with aperitifs and snacks) is available, free of charge, at any time of day. It really is a 'home from home'.
The very friendly owners and staff directed us to 3 excellent restaurants (2 of them very close to the hotel). The charming breakfast room provides the best of the continental variety.
Much of the produce is obviousy home-made. The service provided by Tamara was exemplary.
If we ever return to Florence, we will return to the Hotel Rosary Garden

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. It is cozy, quiet, and charming. The owner is a kind and friendly woman who couldn't do enough for me. The staff were equally accommodating. The breakfast was ample and delicious. It is in a quiet neighbourhood with shops and a few restaurants but just a bus ride from the historic centre of Florence. I highly recommend the Rosary Garden.

This was our second visit to Florence, and our second stay at the Hotel Rosary Garden. I challenge anyone to find a hotel which is as welcoming and homely as the Rosary Garden. All of the staff are friendly and helpful and Monica, the owner, is absolutely lovely. She makes sure you are well cared for during your stay and nothing is too much trouble. Yes, the hotel is a bit of a walk to the main centre of Florence, but it's not a difficult walk and, once you've got to grips with the buses, it's easy to get around.

The rooms are beautifully decorated and the little extras such as the lounge area where you can help yourself to drinks and biscuits help make this a real home from home.

Whenever I am in Florence this will be my hotel of choice.

Thanks, thanks, thanks!, No words to thank you enough first of all, to have been back to the Rosary Garden, and secondarily to have written such a nice comment on ourselves! As to join the city centre, a little surprise for you and for everyone: considering the short distance (Km. 2,5), and that there are nice bicycles paths just from here, we have now bicycles at free disposal of our guests. And, if in a good shape, why not to use them to go to the Chianti? A good reason to come back for the third time, isn’t it?
