“Great location and excellent staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2013

We stayed here for three nights. The best is its location - everything is within walking distance. The 24-hour staff was excellent, and wi-fi signal in our room was pretty good (until the last day when it slowed down quite a bit despite staff's effort to fix it). The breakfast was pretty good, and Tani's recommendations for restaurant were outstanding. The noise level in our room was quite low. The bathroom was small, and we did not get hair shampoo or conditioner - a minor inconvenience. For all these, the room was well worth the price we paid for. I would come and stay here again given a chance.

Room Tip: The staff is local and very helpful, so use them and not waste time in your own internet research.

Hotel Perseo has a great situation in Florence.
From there, you can walk almost everywhere in the historical center of the city.
Rooms are large, very clean and comfortable.
The view from the room on little bells was very pleasant.
The service is perfect, and is always looking forward to satisfy your needs
We stayed with our 2 children and would come back for sure !

Room Tip: Room 409 is perfect for a family with 2 kids. Quite, with a nice view !

Hotel Perseo is a great place to stay when you are in Florence as it is just a short walk away from the Duomo and if your lucky you may be able to see the bell tower at night from your window like we did - the view was fantastic. The staff were very friendly giving us a map of Florence and showing us on the map where to go - btw - Boboli Gardens is a must. As one of the owners is an Aussie/New Zealander, (and we are Aussies) she advised us that all the shops were open on Easter unlike Australia, little details like that really helped us- that said all the staff were great and very thoughtful. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The only thing we wish we didn't have to do was leave our key at reception every time we left the hotel, but I imagine there is a good reason for this. Loved this hotel, free WIFI, clean rooms, hot shower, clean comfy bed, friendly staff, yummy breakfast - whats not to love!

Our family stayed here in April 2013. Easy walk from Train station and right around the corner from the Duomo. Friendly staff, good breakfast, rooms were spacious, modern and clean. On the third floor but in some respects that was desireable as the street is busy and it was good to get above the din. Elevator only takes two people at a time though.

Me and my Husband we stayed 4 nights in this hotel. We found the staff always very helpfull, making reservation for us and gibing good informations. They let us leave our bags on the last the to give the last look around. The only problem i found was that we have to leave the keys everytime we leave the room. But the rest was a very plesant stay! I would recommend!!

Can’t beat the location: walk out the front door, look to the right and there’s the Duomo. Hotel Perseo is right in the middle of everything - we walked and walked for our three days in Florence and with the central location it was easy to get every where, and to stop in our room for a breather if needed. The hotel is pretty basic, but perfectly sufficient and very clean with a nice and helpful staff and a fine breakfast. We’d definitely stay there again. (If the 5% TA discount is still on the site – make sure you ask for it directly at the time of booking, in a follow-up e-mail if necessary. The website doesn’t always account for it.)

We stayed here in July 2012, and it was a pleasant stay, but nothing truly unbelievable. It was good being very close to the duomo, though we may have wanted to be in a quieter neighborhood. There was good breakfast that consisted of croissants, and italian meats. The rooms were nice but again, nothing fantastic. The hotel wasn't too expensive, which was good.
