Hotel Perseo is a great place to stay when you are in Florence as it is just a short walk away from the Duomo and if your lucky you may be able to see the bell tower at night from your window like we did - the view was fantastic. The staff were very friendly giving us a map of Florence and showing us on the map where to go - btw - Boboli Gardens is a must. As one of the owners is an Aussie/New Zealander, (and we are Aussies) she advised us that all the shops were open on Easter unlike Australia, little details like that really helped us- that said all the staff were great and very thoughtful. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The only thing we wish we didn't have to do was leave our key at reception every time we left the hotel, but I imagine there is a good reason for this. Loved this hotel, free WIFI, clean rooms, hot shower, clean comfy bed, friendly staff, yummy breakfast - whats not to love!
