Even without the rooftop pool, this would be a lovely hotel. Our room was a good size, clean, and quiet - it looked into a small internal courtyard. The staff were always friendly and attentive, and the front desk staff were very helpful. The location is perfect for walking to the main attractions in Florence, and is close to the train and bus stations for day trips (and the airport transfer to Pisa). The hotel is located on a lovely square that has a little bustle for interest, but is not loud or overcrowded.
But best of all was the rooftop pool. It is quite small, but was the perfect place to relax in the afternoon after a morning's sightseeing. The views from the pool area over Florence were fantastic, and it felt like such a treat to be up there.
I would recommend it to any of my friends planning to stay in Florence.
