We (a family of four) stayed at the San Firenze Suites & Spa in July which was arguably the hottest time of the year. We had a fabulous time. We had some difficulties finding the hotel, but once we found it and entered the hotel, we were greeted with "we have been expecting you" which in itself is a fantastic welcome. Margherita and Elena were fantastic - they greeted our kids with a huge toy dinosaur which we took all the way back to California and they were extremely helpful in getting tickets to the Uffizi and helping with other tips and recommendations. Our room was fabulous, with a separate room for the kids and an awesome view of the duomo. It was very spacious and had all the amenities one could wish for. The bar next door is part of the hotel and offers great breakfast pastries and cappucinos. It was also perfect to have a nightcap when the kids were already in bed. I would definitely recommend San Firenze Suites and will stay there again next time we are in Firenze.
