We were talked into taking the E20 all-you-can eat sushi at this cute restaurant in the San Frediano district. The atmosphere was quite nice and there is a covered room that they call the patio where those who wished to could smoke. Everything looked new and clean, including the washrooms.
Most of the menu is according to the all inclusive formula, all except for sashimi and drinks basically. We arrived early and hungry on a Tuesday night. The wait staff seemed particularly disorganized and service was slow though we were the only patrons to start. The restaurant soon filled up totally. There were 2 vegetarians in the party and one had eaten there before when the owner was present. She said there were lots of vegetarian options but when we asked, there were very few. To their credit, they tried their best but the maki rolls all tasted the same, whether oshinko, cucumber or avocado rolls. Sushi came in no particular order and with no regard to which person had ordered what. All of the vegetarian options came first, leaving the non-vegetarians to either share those or starve. Tempura came at the end when nobody was hungry any more. We got things we didn't order and almost didn't get what we did order. The catch is that you have to eat everything you order or they charge extra, so having heavy dishes at the end was particularly disruptive. The sushi rice was too wet and a little heavy. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant for good sushi.
