“A great place to stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2014

Perfect location, less than a five minute walk from the bus station ( there is an airport shuttle bus that runs every half hour from Florence airport and is great value at 10 euros for a return ticket) and in the other direction the river Arno. Staff helpful and friendly. I can't understand why previous entries say the breakfast is boring, I thought there was a great choice, fruit, cereals, pastries, cold meat and cheese, sausages and eggs, fresh bread and rolls as well as a cake. Our room was at the back of the hotel where we heard no noise from traffic

This hotel have great location. Few minutes walk to shopping area and same to river and bridges.
Obviously there is older and just renovated rooms and we got older. For the price we payed it was ok. But of course it would be nicer to be in new room. Breakfast was ok, nothing special but alright. Staff was nice and friendly. I would book this again because of location. Nice restaurants near hotel also.

Room Tip: If you want good location with good price, this is your choice then.

the room was organized in terrible way! there was a pillar in the middle that hit my foot every time I passed! poor breakfast. Depressing colors and furniture.there is no lift on the ground floor,,you have to drag your bags all the way by stairs to reach the lift in the 1st floor and don't try asking for help as they will respond no! this is a 3 star hotel!
the location is perfect,,the only bright side in my miserable stay.

The biggest plus of the hotel is the location. It is a very short walk from the historic center and the additional advantage is the cheap price. Hotel staff nice and helping, very good breakfast but the hotel needs serious renovation, the street is very noisy and you can not open windows.

On arrival were informed that our booking for a superior room from 7 months ago was not available. We were moved to a sub standard hotel across the street. Room was no bigger than a box and after much complaining for the amount we had paid were allowed to have a double bed in a room no bigger than the first. Management rude and could not explain why our superior room was not available to us. I would never recommend this hotel under any circumstances.

Florence is small enough that most hotels have a great location and within walking distance of the best sights. This one included. It was very loud in the hotel as the walls did not dull noise. The bathroom was poor but clean. Very good value but book early in Italy to have a better choice of hotels. Staff very pleasent. Breakfast poor.
