“The heart of Florence”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 days ago NEW

Located in the center of the Florence, this hotel is idyllic. It's common spaces and rooms are brimming with character, eclectic and intimate.
The staff is friendly and thoughtful. During our stay at the Monna Lisa, I celebrated a birthday. They must have noticed the date on my passport upon check-in and had champagne and a lovely card sent our room. The gesture was generous and much appreciated!
The hotel is walking distance from everything, including the train station and various noteworthy restaurants. If you are hoping to sightsee, eat, or just soak up the Italian culture, you'll find this hotel will accommodate! It was classic and indelible.

We spent a few days at the Hotel Monna Lisa while visiting Florence and Tuscany. It's a rather unique, albeit charming hotel. Our room was in the building beyond the courtyard and afforded no view. The room we were assigned appeared to be an older room that had yet to be upgraded in any way. It was nice and quaint, which, in hindsight may have benefited our ability to keep our room cooler than most. Despite this, the hotel is quite charming. It has a plethora of Mona Lisa 'interpretations' adorning the walls and the location itself was rather centralized. Everything seemed to be just a short walk away. We didn't really interact with the staff too much, but when we did, they were very pleasant and accommodating. I'd certainly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for some of that old world charm.

Room Tip: Request a room with a garden/courtyard view. They seem to be larger.

Nice staff, great location, charming decoration. The breakfast (and its room) were absolutely fabulous. We enjoyed the gym room too. We loved the beautiful garden and the jacuzzi in our room. Our stay in Florence was definitely enhanced by this amazing hotel!

I was there in february and I really enjoyed my days there. If you are looking for a new modern hotel it's not your place, if you are looking for an amazing place full of history and charm hotel you really will enjoy it.

really close to the center,
the hotel is from the 14th century, really cosy, antique and nice.
kind people working there, always helpful.
breakfast not big, but excellent quality.
really clean and in every room you see history.
only two points which could be more perfect are the bathroom, which is not really modern and 4 stars. and the wifi was horrible.
we would book always this hotel in florence again.

Room Tip: high floor with balcony, front house is the old one, rear house a bit newer. but i cannot say whe...

We left Rome early because it wasn't very nice and we were so glad. We booked this place at the last minute and it was amazing! The rooms were great and the location was amazing. You can't go wrong with this place.
