The rooms at this hotel were quite good and that is were the good things stop.
There was no bar and the food was terrible even for tour food. The waiting staff were completly hope less and I put this down to bad or no training.
The breakfast was another episode of Faulty Towers with some of the staff extremly rude and being told not to sit here but over there etc.
If you are on a tour and are down to stay here, good luck!!!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights as part of a tour. The room was much nicer than those in most other Italian hotels I've stayed in, and there was a (circular) DOUBLE BED, not just two twins pushed together, which was amazing. It was very clean and the shower had great water pressure. The pool area was lovely and there were heaters running whenever it was the least bit chilly. The hotel is also right next to a bus stop, which is super convenient when you've spent a long day walking around Florence--just hop on a bus and you're right at your hotel after a short ride. There are good restaurants and a grocery store just down the street. The real shining star, though, is the hotel manager, Esther! She is amazing: friendly, courteous, and helpful. Her English is perfect, and she went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. Her awesome customer service really added so much to our stay. Thanks, Esther!

Stayed here for two nights on a tour of Europe, the hotel was in a good spot, close to shops and restaurants. The hotel it's self was average, the staff behind the counter were good, they helped out with directions to get around. The rooms were on the small side but did have what you need and were clean. Carnt say to much about there food, the breakfast and tea were on the poor side, not much to choose from, I wouldn't eat there again if I stayed. Would not stay here again.

Stayed there when it was managed by Holiday Inn. Now changed to Italiana and things seems to have gone downhill faster than before. Check in staff was unfriendly and you are pretty much on your own after you checked in. Room was big but Italiana have removed the coffee making facilities. It started to get cold in the night when I was there but the air conditioner will not work. Probably too early in the season and have to save cost. For internet, you have to buy a 1 or 3 hour ticket. Was told that it is all that I will get per day.

Location is out of town and you have to take taxi or bus to get to town in about 15 minutes. Only thing is that it is convenient to get on the expressway if you drive. So if you are a tourist or first time visitor to Florence, this is not the hotel for you.

We were freezing in the room. Once asked for the heating, they said the heating would be on only in winter and told us to use blankets. İt was 10 degree outside and you can only heat the room with 15 degrees, it's like a joke.

We stayed for three nights during a recent tour of Italy. The entrance is a bit bizarre, where you pretty much walk through a garage forecourt. The breakfast was pretty average, but the room was spacious and clean. The biggest dissapointment was the pool - we only booked the hotel the day before, just prior to leaving Verona, and despite advertising that they have a pool, on our arrival, we found out that it had been shut over a week already for the Winter season, they should clearly state the opening dates. All in all an okay hotel for the price if you are on a budget and much cheaper than hotels in town - remember - you get what you pay for, so don't expect any luxuries.

I stayed at this hotel recently as part of a cosmos tour. We were here for two awful nights. 1st night we checked in and on arrival to our room it smelt like mould as we entered our room the carpet was wet and discoloured. My wife put the airconditioner on as it was quite warm. About midnight my wife was woken up due to the sound of leaking water dripping on the carpet and i saw a stream of water coming from the paneling from the roof, this was a constant drip which increased. I moved one of the panels and was covered in water, i got some towels to try and stop the leak. I contacted the reception and informed them of the situation. A hotel staff member arrived at my door and i showed him the issue, he advised me that there was nothing he could do but give me some more towels. These towels were then placed in the roof to stop the leaking. 3 hours sleep that night.

Next day we advised the foyer staff about the issue and we were informed that it would be fixed.
Went out that morning and arrived back later in the afternoon. Carpet was dry, and there was a fan in the room airing out the wet mouldy smell.

Went to sleep later that night to be awoken by the sound of someone turning on a tap, this was around 4am. Got up and could hear the sound of water gushing from the roof, grabbed my mobile phone to use as a light, there water coming from the same panel in the roof but had short circuited the down light near the front door.

The first issue here is a safety breach being the windows to the place open slightly and on an angle not allowing access to get out in case of fire. We were on the second floor in room number 222. The chance of being electrocuted if standing in a pile of water and turning on a light. The incident was recorded on my iphone for proof which i will, post a link at a later stage on youtube.

No sleep for the rest of the morning as we had to leave the place, thank god for that. We informed the receptionist in the morning who did not give a stuff about our safety or wellbeing.

Our tour guide was informed and was more than happy to help us out to file a formal complaint.

Please do not stay at this hotel.
