Hotel has a great location for leisure trips. Rooms are too hot but considering the hotel is a 4 stars property as good amenities. Breakfast is fine but it can be improved with some gluten free and light items. Staff is helpful and nice. The aroma throughout the hotel (Dr. Vranjes) is superb!

Had a 4 night stay in November. Wonderful hotel in a great location just behind the Duomo. Spacious enough room and bathroom. Excellent maid service, room kept very clean. Also very quiet ensuring a good night sleep. Excellent spread for breakfast. Staff were always very helpful and friendly. Good little fitness area with 3 treadmills, a few weights and mats.

Great place, modern, stylish, clean, friendly and you can't be more centrally located unless you move into the dome itself! Rooms with wooden floors, though a bit small but very clean and modern bathrooms. Vast choice at breakfast buffet; friendly and helpful staff. Fitness is simple with the few most important machines.
Loved it - thanks a lot!!

Last minute booking for a few days break in Florence, the hotel was great value for money. Comfortable stylish room in a characteristic building in the heart of this magnificent city. Behind the Duomo and the shops of Il Corso but sufficiently insulated for a silent night sleep in a spacious bed. Retaining the grandiose feeling of the old without compromising any mod cons. Wifi didn't work due to us changing rooms at check in (as we requested a double bed rather than twin beds) but concierge was more than happy to check in our flights. We ordered room service as I was feeling unwell and the food was outstanding although a bit pricy. Added bonus a small but well laid out gym. Only disadvantage was having to take two lifts to get to the bedrooms which got us lost a few times. Efficient service at all times. Have been to Florence a few times and highly recommend this hotel!

Room Tip: Request a quiet upper floor bedroom

Hotel Brunelleschi manages the extraordinary trick of providing an incredibly restful and civilised environment while being just steps away from ... well, from everything! I don't believe I have ever stayed at a hotel that is so convenient to all the key attractions and amenities as is Hotel Brunellechi. You might think that in a very heavily touristed city as Florence such an amazing location would come with the tradeoff that the noise and commotion from outside would inevitably leak inside to undermine the restful calm, but no, the combination of excellent soundproofing and the quiet 'mini piazza' on which the hotel is located ensure that once you step inside the Brunelleschi, you can relax as much as you wish. It is actually tranquil. My wife and I stayed four nights with our infant son, and not once did he stir from his nighttime sleep or his two daytime naps, despite the streets outside our window being full of people day and night.

The individual staff members of the Brunelleschi were, without exception during our stay, outstanding professionals and generous hosts. They showed great flexibility and care when my wife fell ill with a nasty bug on the eve of our scheduled departure, and we had to arrange an 'emergency' one-night extension of our room reservation.

With so much choice of restaurants just outside your door, there is no particular need to use the hotel's two restaurants for reasons of convenience, but there IS a compelling argument to use them for reasons of quality. Outstanding Tuscan cuisine, coupled with the same great service one finds throughout the Brunelleschi, I would actually recommend that someone staying at another hotel consider coming to the Brunelleschi just to enjoy a special lunch or dinner.

If there is one complaint to make about this otherwise excellent hotel, it is the room service. This aspect was really disappointing, especially because we were unusually dependant on room service at times due to the baby's schedule and my wife's illness towards the end of our stay. Room service portions were generally small, and the quality was sometimes inexcusably poor -- for example, a much-needed late-evening lasagna was served still half-frozen! It was the only part of the Brunelleschi experience that was poor value and carelessly done.

Notwithstanding the notably poor room service, the fact is, the Brunelleschi shines so brightly in other areas that we would not hesitate to stay there again on our next trip to Florence. It is a gem, and the staff are great ambassadors for the hotel and for the city.

Not only do the staff smile, and are friendly, but they answer all your questions. They make sure you have a memorable stay at this awesome hotel. The hotel is also very clean, the room service is stellar, and their brunch is delicious

What a wonderful place! I stayed there for 8 days exploring Florence and couldn't have found a better base. This charming small hotel is literally in the center of everything, there isn't a site in the city beyond a short stroll from it. The staff is wonderful, helpful, friendly, and efficient. Great breakfast each morning with the English newspaper offered up with a smile. My room was lovely, comfy bed, big TV, free wi-fi, and immaculately clean. And quiet, even though my room faced the small street on which the hotel is located. I already miss the enormous bathroom with all the amenities. Not inexpensive, but you definitely get your money's worth and more.

Room Tip: There are rooms facing a service alley that may be even quieter than mine, but I couldn't hear a...
