We stayed at the hotel for five nights during a tour of Italy. It was superb. The staff were extremely helpful and polite and had clearly been trained in providing a luxury experience to guests. They all looked very professional in tailored uniforms which all added to the high level of expectation. We were not disappointed.
Our room was immaculate and the spa bath was worked in overtime. Internet was a little sporadic but we weren't there to work or do anything other than enjoy the city. There was a fitness centre which looked to be equipped with all ythat one would expect from a gym but again this was a break from normal routine so we didn't use it.
Breakfast was very good with a wide choice and all fresh. We ate in twice including on the.little square at the front of the hotel and it was very enjoyable. Including the award winning ice creams!
And the air conditioning was a godsend in August with temperatures hitting 37C.
The hotel is well situated to explore the delights of Firenze, being right at the heart of the city. We will certainly stay next time we visit and highly recommend it to other travellers.
