My wife and I spent another wonderful two weeks here in the Casa Rosa apartment.( the second of what we hope to be many visits) We are so comfortable here and are treated as if we are old friends. The grounds are the nicest in Florence but there is a unique charm to the place that sets it apart from the other 4 Stars in town.Perhaps it is the presence of the owner Amerigo Franchetti on the grounds with his wonderful smile and good humor. Or simply sitting and enjoying a glass of the excellent house wine in any of the grand rooms on the main floor. Once again Sandy painted some of the scenic spots around the property , and this year took a cooking lesson with Anna (Mrs.Franchetti) which was wonderful. Going to Bellosguardo is one of the true pleasures in our lives.

My wife and I just spent 6 wonderful days at beloved Torre di Bellosguardo on the outskirts of Florence. Surrounded by beautiful renaissance gardens, Bellosguardo is a timeless gem set in the postcard perfect hills, but still an easy walk to all the sights of Florence. Talk about a room with a view. The staff was very sweet and attentive, and Amerigo, the owner, takes great care to make sure every guest is happy. This is a place you will want to visit more than once.

We were only able to stay one night at this beautiful hotel, and wished we were able to extend our stay. It was perfect from the moment we drove up the long, beautifully landscaped driveway. The small staff was gracious, exceptional and attentive. The room, views, gardens and food were amazing. It was so comfortable, peaceful and quiet with unblievable views of Florence that we cannot wait to go back.

Excellent hotel a 10 minutes walk from the heart of Florence. Quiet , relaxing place, swimming pool, huge garden and amazing view over Florence and hills. This is one of those places where you feel as you were invated in a private house than in a classic hotel. A perfect place to stay for visit Florence.
