From the moment we arrived, we were treated as friends and special guests by everyone concerned in the running of the hotel. Nothing was too much trouble, even changing our room after a couple of hours as it didn't have a window that could open, and I get claustrophobic if I can't see daylight. The new room had two large windows and was very light and spacious. The bathroom was a bit small but absolutely fine. Breakfast was a great experience, with a big selection of food. Lots of varieties of bread, meats, cheeses and fruit to name but a few things on offer. Coffee was excellent and served to our table, with as many refills as you could drink! There was free wifi access in our room and the location of the hotel was great, with lots of trattorias within easy walking distance as well as the magnificent Duomo. Loved it all!
