“Excellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2013

The hotel itself is situated only a few minutes walk from basically everything you probably came to Firenze to see. The rooms are clean and spacious compared to many other budget hotels in Europe. The hotel has a really cosy breakfast room, with the basics to start your day. Excellent coffe! The price per night is very reasonable!

The best part about this hotel, though, is the superfriendly and service minded staff who work there. I have hardly met such genuinley nice people working in a hotel anywhere I have traveled. They made my wife & I, and our baby girl feel at home. This is the kind of place that makes you want to come back to Firenze as soon as possible.

And by the way; try the gelato store in the street behind the hotel. You won't regret it!

See you soon!

Kevin

Stayed here again at the beginning of March with my 11 year old grandson. It was as good as I remembered. The staff were wonderfully helpful, nothing was too much trouble, the breakfasts were very good and actually filled his hollow legs, plus of course the location is amazing, within short walking distance of all the "sights". I would never want to stay anywhere else in Florence, it ticks all the boxes.

This is one of the best 2 stars hotels in Florence because of their great location, amazing customer service of the staff, internet availability in your room, free breakfast and cleanliness of the rooms...So OK...the beds are a little hard...but I would stay in this hotel when I come back to Florence...Paolo, Pierpaolo, and Carla and the rest of the staff are eager to make restaurant, attraction or other reservations and help you in any way they can. The location is close to the Duomo, Accademia Gallery and walking distance to everywhere.

I stayed here in February with my family and it was an absolute delight. Very friendly and helpful staff, lovely breakfasts and a brilliant location with virtually everything you want to see within walking distance. I certainly hope to return.

Just had amazing three days in this hotel. Nicest staff of any hotel I have stayed in. Always greeted with a big smile and an hello. Super helpful too.
The location is incredibly good, can't wait to stay again

We stayed here on our first trip to Italy. The staff were very helpful and courteous with us as naive American travelers. The hotel is centrally located within walking distance of the train station, Duomo, Uffizi and Accademia Gallery. The breakfast is wonderful, with fresh fruit, pastries, and cappuccino to name a few items. We would definitely stay at Hotel Casci again.

We stayed here with a party of friends. The hotel is centrally placed just a few minutes from the Duomo. The staff did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. The rooms were a decent size and the en suite bathrooms good quality. Breakfast was good with fresh fruit and a variety of pastries, hot and cold boiled eggs and good coffee. Everything was clean and neat. This is a very good value hotel we will stay at again on a future visit to Florence. And by the way it is in the house once owned by the composer Rossini.
