“timeless beauty”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2013

There's a lot more here than just David and it is all well presented. Consider paying an extra 4 euros to avoid the queues.

“A true work of art”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2013

The museum is quite a challenge to get in to and then get around in. It is huge and requires a lot of walking. If you need to sit down a lot, I recommend getting a walking cane with chair. I used it while traveling on this trip and was sure glad that I had it.

“Hard to miss”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2013

If you're in Firenze, you absolutely have to see this. France has the Mona Lisa, Italy has David.

Does get a bit crowded, but it is a lifetime experience.

“Join the queue - it's worth it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2013

Crowded gallery but still worth the visit as it is a magnificent statue. Probably worth getting the audio tour guide although this does become over elaborate at times.

“Pictures don't do David justice”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2013

The Accademia did a wonderful job of displaying David. I, like many others, marveled at the simplicity and the power of David.
