“Palazzo Vecchio”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2015 NEW

A wonderful old palace which is now the Town Hall but no less beautiful!
You must go to the Loggia with its wonderful views over the city and explore the secret rooms and passageways throughout the building

“Amazing”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2015

This whole area is full of beauty and history. We visited on the day of the celebration of the maggi taking their gifts to Jesus in the Duomo. It was a long procession with music, flag throwers and people dressed in 15th costume. A sight to behold

“Lots of jewelry”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 14, 2015

A very busy spot on the Arno. It has loads and loads of jewelry. We just looked and didn't shop. Not sure what kinds of bargains you can get. Crowded, but easy to cross on our way to Pitti Palace. Ufizi (the Medici Palace) very near. A good thing to see, but a little crowded.

“A marvel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2015 via mobile

The palace is extremely beautiful - with something more beautiful through every new door. We just toured the palace (not the tower). It was an enjoyable experience - but needed to stay ahead or behind many large tour groups to get up close to see things.
