“Oh to walk along the corridors of the powerful”

Such beauty and opulence, a must see.... The amazing painted ceilings give the Vatican a run for it's money and maybe even surpass it in my opinion

Brilliant morning noon and night. Often classical guitar player in the evening which is not to be missed but good all day too.

“Beautiful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2014 NEW

Shops and restaurants surround the square and just a minute or two walk into a lane of high end fashion boutiques. Streets like Via Calimala and Via Dei Calzaiouli were my favourite streets to shop on. Just becareful of eating at restaurants here, too pricey and lets just say they know how well to make money off tourists

“Many stairs”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2014 NEW

This is one of the famous attractions of Florence. It holds many priceless art works and a copy of Michelangelo's David statue guards the entrance. Be prepared to walk up and down many flights of stairs

“Sometimes you just get lucky”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2014 NEW via mobile

As we were exiting the free courtyard feeling disappointed that we didn't have the time or energy to fully explore the museum and palazzo we found ourselves witness to the civil marriage of an attractive and smiling young Italian couple surrounded by their smartly dressed jubilant friends. Point is that some of the best travel memories just can't be planned or anticipated in advance.
