“Old but grand”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2013

The Palazzo Vecchio is crammed with history and spectacular art, even a lovely Michelangelo. Room after room was an interesting surprise, topped off with incredible views from the tower (which I highly recommend you don't skip).

My visit was not very crowded.

“Impressive building.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2013

Right next to the Uffizi the Palazzo Vecchio is a very busy. The entrance courtyard is beautiful. Important tip..... it is closed on a Thursday afternoon so we didn't get chance to clime to the top!

“Impressive rooms”

A building with may impressively decorated and restored rooms. A very long staircase to get up there and very crowded but worth a visit.

“In the midst of grandeur”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2013

This is a high point of renaissance and baroque sculpture and architecture. There is enough going on at the Palazzo Vecchio to make a whole course syllabus...and you can join the crown who take it all in and top it off with a gelato.

“Palazzo Posh”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2013

Art as far as you can see, imagine how the Florentine royalty lived. Maybe, catch a public meeting to highlight how today's Italians still utilise ancient buildings. Don't miss the Terrace of Saturn for fabulous views.
