“The building that oozes Power”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2013

You cannot truly understand the power the Medici family held in Florence until you enter this building and remember that it was a residence before it was a city hall

“so much to see”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2013

So many works of art all very well laid out. Could do with a few more seats to rest as so much to see. make sure you have your tickets beforehand otherwise you'll have a long wait.

“tablet tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2013

We booked a tablet each so that we could walk about the Palazzo Vecchio and hearabout the art and architecture. You have to leave some security at the desk when you collect your tablet- I left a credit card- but you could leave a photocopy of passport details too if you had one handy.
The best part about the tablet is the close focus on small details within the larger paintings and the way you can go back and forth from different rooms in your own time. You do get a bit dizzy looking up at all that magnificence!

“Great experience”

Fantastic Florence view from Torre di Arnolfo. Tipic skyline. I suggest the visit at sunset. In the palace the room of 500 a pièce of renaissance history
