My husband and I stayed here in July while we were in town for a friends wedding. I booked this hotel based on the reviews on here and was not disappointed. The hotel is located a quick five minute walk from the central train station, as well as the duomo. We walked everywhere with no troubles at all. The breakfast was delicious each morning with lots to choose from and the hotel is very clean and nicely decorated. I also have to mention that even though the hotel is very close to the train station, it felt very safe and we walked around all times of the day and night with no problems.

A short walk from the Station, the hotel is well located as to all the museums and the downtown area. The rooms are clean and modern, our suite had a terrace looking out over the Duomo. Clean, staff very attentive and friendly. Public rooms very beautiful. Worth the price and would go back. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices and located in a nice room with a great view of the City.

=Accommodation: A double-bed room w/ writing desk connected to a large bathroom (with bathtub) the size of the Baths of Caracalla, and similarly marble-faced, by a corridor "hall". Not your average hotel room indeed, making it appear more like a mini-apartment.
=Location: Excellent for both railway, bus and airport (via bus) connections without having to trudge through the city center to your hotel. Everything in the city yet within walking distance. The Piazza SMN with a choice of food in stalls immediately outside the front door.
=Other: The breakfast room atop the hotel overlooks the city and the SM Novella. Room service available.
=Personnel: Friendly and professional.
=Verdict: Not the cheapest of accommodations even by Firenze's standards, but for the location and experience well recommended.

The rooms are spacious, Gabriele v.helpful at the front desk. The hotel L'Orologio is very nicely located. minutes walk from the main attractions we wanted. Rooms beautifully decorated and the staff really nice and helpful. we were delighted with our room and the public rooms of the hotel. The rooms were spacious, extremely clean and well appointed. Breakfast was Delightful. We stayed at this hotel for a week on our honeymoon.
