“Panini to die for”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2012

Around the corner from the Uffizi is this little shop with the best in variety and quality. Order a bottle of the house wine and choose from meats, cheeses, condiments (mustard, pesto, truffle sauce) to creat the perfect panino. Your taste buds will thank you.

“Delicious sandwiches”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2012

No wonder there's a queue! The sandwiches were mouth wateringly good and there is so much choice it takes everyone ages to decide what to have!

“A true find in Firenze”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2012

This tiny sandwich shop is a jewel hidden on a narrow street behind the Uffizzi. They made all the panini to order, even the meat is cut to order, unlike most Italian delis where the sandwiches are made ahead. Wonderful salumi and delightful combinations, including their own tasty sauces...plus tasting platters of meat and cheeses. They use delicious ciabatta for the panini and heat them up so the flavors meld together wonderfully. We also loved the verdure antipasto plate with broccoli rabe, zucchini, roasted peppers and more. This place is only open for lunch...and the prices are great...5-8 euros for sandwuches. It was so good, we went for lunch twice...and would have gone back again but we ran out of time. Bellissima!

“Amazing Sandwich near Ponte Vecchio”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2012

We were sent here by my daughter's friend who had spent a semester in Florence. Wow... it was worth finding this place. We came twice for lunch. Its close to the Ponte Vecchio and many other sites, so its a great place to sit down, have a glass of wine and one of their amazing sandwiches!

“Wow, I mean wow”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2012 via mobile

"Best sandwich ever"- that's what my friend said after a few bites. Many options- try something new! Love the casual vibe of this place. I heard about this from the New York Times and it was worthy of their review. It's close to many of the sites. Go there for a relaxing quick lunch.
