“Delicious, friendly, great value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2013 via mobile

We have been to La Burrasca twice.

Warning 1: Make a booking, or turn up when they first open else you will most likely be turned away as they are often full.
Warning 2: Closed Mondays.

Florentina steak was €35 per kilogram. A kilogram or slightly more will feed 2. This was a delicious option and seasoned to perfection. When split between 2 the price is very competitive for Florence.

The mixed grill meat plate for 2 was €20 and contained 3 types of meat. A bargain at €10 each when split.

Sides are very reasonable prices, including seasoned potatoes which I recommend for €3.

House wine was excellent and competitive prices too at €6 for 0.5L.

Service is friendly and the place has a friendly vibe.

The restaurant is small inside so be prepared to be close to other tables. The menus are hand written and change often, most likely depending on the produce that they can buy.

Highly recommended and will be heading back.

“Friendly, tasty & reasonable!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2013

Chanced upon this place quite by accident. It is in quite an unlikely location; in amongst a sea of dodgy kebab shops and just around the corner from the Central Market but don't be put off as this a gem of a restaurant. The menu has a nice variety of items to choose from and the waiter was friendly, informative and wasn't pushy. The prices are very reasonable for Florence and the food was unpretentious and tasty. There is no service or cover charge but the waiter definitely deserved his tip! Would definitely recommend - whether you are on a budget or not, it is worth a visit...or two!

“Amazing food and service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

Best florentina T-bone in florence with a side of friendly service. Extremely happy with the traditional resturaunt. It may be a tiny Traittoria but it has huge character. Thank you for making my experience in Florence that much better with your superb foods and exceptionally good service. This Aussie consumer is highly please.

“Home Cooking!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2013

This has become my favorite spot in Florence, I eat here 2-3 times a week, sometimes for lunch, sometimes for dinner. I love that they have a different menu all the time. Everything is always fresh and tasty. The service is excellent. The prices are cheap for the quality of food you get. A glass of house wine is 1.50 euros, their pasta dishes anywhere between 6-8 euros.
