“Well located and very clean”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2012

Stayed for one night in Executive Suite with our two children. More than enough space and very quiet considering how close to the street we were. Service was good and beds were comfortable. Would stay there again when in Florence.

We just got back from Florence and Tuscany where we spent 11 days at Ponte Vecchio Suites.
I can't say the hotel was beyond our expectations since we already stayed there in 2009 and knew how amazing this place and the staff running are; simply put the best quite location only steps away from all major attractions, most comfortable beds, trully functioning Air conditioning, great kitchen and TV, spacious living room... Truly a dream home away from home. And if you are in for value, there is no competition in Florence.

This time the hotel and specially Larisa ( who runs the place) went one step further. When we moved to the Chianti region and found out the hotel there was totally unsuitable I called Larisa at Ponte Vecchio and despite the fact that her hotel was fully booked she worked for hours until finally she found us the wonderful accomodation she knew we became used to.
The services Ponte Vecchio Hotel staff provided to me are truly invaluable:tips for best local restaurants ( not tourists traps), guided tours, last moment car rentals and above all they helped us in what became an emergency situation and saved our vacation.

If you can go for a real treat the SPA will blow you away, although it is not cheap.

Room Tip: If you can go for the Executive Suites which give you even more space. I must say that the regular s...

We just got back from a 6 night stay and had such a great time....it is basically a small selection of modern, comfortable suites-it is not really a hotel, but just as good when staying in such a wonderful city....

Excellent location-for siteseeing and for restaurants/eateries, has a supermarket close by, and you can walk everywhere, including the station (in 20 mins-with luggage!)

Excellent professional and very helpful staff-like having a personal concierge!

Large spacious accommodation-clean and well kept

I would not hesitate to stay here again..it compares favourably to some great hotels we have stayed at from all over the world.....just understand that it is not a hotel with 24 hr reception, or bell boys, or room service etc....but it doesn't claim to be either

Would be ideal for couples and families alike

Thanks again for a fantastic stay

We foolishly made our way from Venice to Florence on the Friday afternoon before a long holiday weekend, without first making a reservation in Florence! Chance good luck directed us to these beautiful apartments, and a delightful and kind-hearted staff member called Larisa who gave us a last-minute suite to overnight in. She went out of her way again and again during the course of our stay to make sure that we were looked after, and making good memories of Florence, as she said. With a first-class well-appointed suite, a comfortable bed covered in highest-quality linen and the best pillows, and all the best amenities close to hand, how could we not have good memories?

Room Tip: Don't open the windows on the street-facing apartments as the streets are very noisy. The window...

We recently returned from a 5 night stay at Ponte Vecchio Suites. It was our fourth trip to Italy (second to Florence) and first time for our kids (10 and 8). We booked the Ponte Vecchio Suites primarily from reviews on TripAdvisor, reasonable price and excellent location in the West Oltrarno which is convenient to the Ponte Vecchio bridge but south of the Arno river away from most of the tourist traffic about a 20 minute walk from the train station. Upon our arrival (we arrived early), we were greeted by Larisa who was so helpful during our entire stay (making recommendations on sites, dinner reservations, train reservations, etc). Our room was very comfortable with separate room for the kids. This is not a full service hotel BUT that's what makes it feel like you're own place as we saw only one other couple during our entire stay. Besides who wants to eat in their room or in the lobby as there is an excellent cafe across the street (Caffe le Torri) where we ate breakfast every morning (not nearly as expensive as the tourist trap cafes at the base of the Ponte Vecchio) and we were the only Americans among locals (good sign). We ate at Gusta Pizza (twice), Osteria del Cinghiale Bianco and Sant'Agostino 23 Trattoria all which were excellent and within walking distance. All of the sites of Florence are convenient and within walking distance. I understand they have another hotel that recently opened in Florence but I would not hesitate to return here on our next trip! I rate 5 stars for location and excellent service! Ciao.

Dear Guest,
thanks so much for your nice review. I'm very happy you had good time with us and you enjoyed our services . You are right, the location is really great, Ponte Vecchio Suites offers guests the ideal accomodation for an exclusive experience of the city and Larissa is always very helpful. It is all true, Ponte Vecchio Suites is not a full service hotel , it offers customers the possibility to manage their holiday in complete freedom, offering them all the comforts and trying to make them feel at home and when we receive comments like yours we are really very happy because it means that we are doing well!
We recently opened a sister-residence, the San Firenze Suites & Spa, keep it in mind for your next visit to Florence!
We hope to see you back soon and thank you for recommending our hotel

We stayed at Ponte Vecchio Suites for 4 days in April. The location is perfect, room was clean and spacious enough for our family of four (we travelled with our two children). Staff is very helpful and professional, offering knowledgable advise and making phone calls to book restaurants, museums etc. Highly recommendable for a great stay in Florence.

We cannot say enough great things about this hotel! We traveled all around Italy and this was by far our favorite hotel and experience--especially for the price! The location is perfect and the staff is so helpful. You really need someone knowledgeable and wiling to help and make phone calls for you in Florence and the women at the front desk were beyond helpful and kind. Also, the room was enormous by European standards and very clean. We will be going back again for sure. Thank you again for all your help Ponte Vecchio staff!
