“Excellent Find in Quiet Location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2013 via mobile

Very near the Piazza Signoria, we discovered Taverna Divina Comedia. I enjoyed a primi of spaghetti bolognese while my husband ordered green salad followed by a delicious pizza. Our meal was accompanied by the house red wine. We sat on the terrace and enjoyed our meal and our dining companions - all Italians. Servings were very generous, meal was delicious and service was attentive. Thoroughly enjoyable evening.

“Great food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2013

Just stumbled upon this place while wandering around the historic center. I asked what he recommended from their menu of the day, and he gave me this fantastic pasta with (I think) fava beans -- he didn't know the english word, and neither do I! It was excellent, and the service was prompt and very friendly, and the prices were very affordable!

I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others!

“Not worth looking for”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2013

TA's #1-3 places were full so had to look elsewhere. This one is a typical average italian tourist joint - everything is average. Service is very slow with numerous errors, food is OK but steak was just raw while waiter reconfirmed it shall be medium, salads are basic and not tasty, pizzas just ok. So its enough to fill the stomach but dont expect any excitement

“Authentic Italian Cuisine”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2013

We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel operator and we were very impressed. The service was great and the food was wonderful. For starters had the bruschetta and the grilled vegetables with Brie which were both very good. My husband had the capriosca pizza which he loved. I had pasta with spicy sausage, olives and tomato which was lovely except the pasta was mildy underdone for my taste. The house red was tasty end cheap. All in all, a great meal!
