“Great aperitivo in the Enoteca”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2013

This restaurant also has an Enoteca which is right on the other side of the street .We had a lovely aperitivo here with a glass of chianti and a couple of small dishes that went along with it

“Really tasteless- felt preprepared.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2013

Disappointing experience- high price for very little real flavour.
The "balsamic breast of chicken" was slices of dry cold chicken - added to a bed of salad with balsamic vinegar cream on top. It was not freshly prepared. The squid and octopus meals equally tasteless

“Best starter for ages.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2013 via mobile

We had lunch in the outside table. The starter of fresh porcini salad with truffle was historic! Simple food brilliantly presented. Our table of 4 all enjoyed the meal complimented by an excellent Sauvignon wine. Good value for money. Tasty pasta Primas too.

“Fresh and very well tasting food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2013 via mobile

Great place. Nice atmosphere, good service, great food. The red house wine (chianti) is excellent. Try the pear ravioli with Gorgonzola sauce!
Only downside: espresso costs 3 euro. My advice is to skip the coffee! Get espresso elsewhere for 1 euro.

“Excellent fresh pasta”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2013

I've been to Natalino (the full restaurant, not the enoteca across the street) several times with results ranging from "OK" to "fabulous." But in the past year, the trend has been towards fabulous. Tonight with friends I shared bruschetta (fresh and delicious) and the pecorino/pear appetizer (beautifully paired with honey and pine nuts). Then tasted each of three entrees: fried chicken with homemade chips (chicken perfectly seasoned and chips crisp and lightly salted; neither too greasy), the pear and gorgonzola ravioli (which I will order next time), and the pasta fresca with mushrooms and beef sauce (very good, but they were not overly generous with the sauce). For dessert, we tried the tiramisu, which was light and creamy, not too heavy, but also not quite enough of a coffee flavor according to my dining companions.

The service tonight was very friendly and professional, and pretty attentive, though all the waiters seemed at one time or another to be overwhelmed or not communicating well with the others. Service is an area that has been most inconsistent over my multiple visits here. The server's mood seems to have a pretty strong impact on the experience (and also on the quantity of food you are served!).

Overall, it was an extremely pleasant meal, and I saw dishes being served to other guests that I want to go back and try (like the eggplant parmesan and the zucchine tartufata).
