Forget about hotels; a much better option is this great B&B with large rooms, featuring comfortable furniture, especially if you are traveling with other people. My sister, mom and I stayed in a suite with two bedroom and separate bathroom. The location is ideal; walking distance to most of the tourist attractions.
The property owner, Evelyn, deserves a special note. She was one of the main reasons we had such a wonderful trip. She was professional, but also pleasant, easy-to-talk-to, and accommodating. I thought Emily’s Rooms provided great ambiance for both sunny and rainy days. I would highly recommend it.
- Official Description (provided by the hotel):
- Emily’s Rooms is located in the area of Florence called Piazza Beccaria. A luminous common living room welcomes guests, opening to a cozy green garden, quite a rarity in Florence! After a day at the museums one can rest in the lounge chairs or sit at the tek wood table under a flowering gazebo. Emily’s Rooms is tastefully decorated with a mix of modern, classical (look at the frescoed ceilings!), and ethnic design. When the B&B is full Evelyn enjoys offering guests an aperitivo before dinner time in the living room or in the garden allowing guests to get to know each other (and her!) and share experiences. ... more less
