Just back from another (our seventh) wonderfully relaxing holiday in Rocca di Pierle. I can confirm that the standards of hospitality and accomodation are as high as ever - and in one significant respect they have improved even further.
We have never felt the need for air-conditioning during any of the holidays we have spent in this fabulous accomodation. However this year the owners have installed an environmentally friendly air-conditioning system which we used only at night. We didn't it but the result was that our sleep was even better than before. The particular system installed must be the quietest one available as it was almost silent in operation.
The best is now even better!

We came back to Rocca di Pierle for our 1st anniversary after getting married there last year and it was just as good as we remembered. A charming house in beautiful surroundings; it's a great place to completely chill out. 

The owner, Andrea is a great host. He's very attentive and a good source of knowledge on places to eat and visit during your stay. 

Cortona is a lovely town with lots of quaint little shops and nice restaurants.

This is our fourth time in Rocca di Pierle. As on all previous occasions, we find here our home away from home. Andrea, the owner, will always make us feel welcome with a generous reception and full attention to details and our privacy.
The views are stunning and the ruin of the castello di Pierle will always serves us as a point of reference as to where our home in Italy is.
the standards of the flats (through time we've stayed in them all....) are very high, always clean and functional. the pool is stunning as well as all the rest.

Yet another wonderful stay at Rocca di Pierle. As we have found on our three previous visits, this property has everything you could wish for. Exceptionally clean, well furnished, comfortable beds and idyllic surroundings. If you choose to self cater, the kitchen has all the equipment you would require, together with a BBQ for guest use. Andrea gives 200% to ensure that his guest's stay is perfect. Nothing is too much trouble. The surrounding area is very interesting, with plenty of places to visit, whether your interests are historical, cultural or culinary. If sight seeing isn't your forte, then just sit by the pool, relax and absorb the tranquility and beautiful views. You don't know what you're missing, it is magical!!
