“Friendly family run hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2013

Our first night was traumatic when I left my rucksack on the bus from Taormina. The owner's son leapt into his car to try and catch the bus without success, but the next day we met him at the bus station at Taormina where he discovered that bus driver was dropping my bag off at the hotel, so he drove us back to the hotel for the reunion. Overall, the hotel is a friendly family run establishment with clean basic rooms and a good continental breakfast. It is well located near the beach and restaurants in Letojanni, with good connections by bus and train (although the trains can be a bit noisy!). Thank you, Galmero!

I spent here one night with my family. Unfortunately I had a puncture in front of the hotel. Even the owner came to give me a hand to change the wheel. There is free parking on street just in front of the hotel.
Letojanni is very quiet. Nearby the hotel there are plenty of restaurants street.
Price / quality ratio is very good.

Avoid the hustle & bustle by staying at this friendly hotel in Letojanni, just 20 mins bus ride from outside the hotel to the centre of beautiful Taormina.
The hotel offers excellent value for money, the staff are welcoming & very helpful, the rooms spotless & the buffet breakfast of cereals. juices, croissants, bread, biscuits, yoghurts, fresh fruit, coffee, tea etc.sets you up for a day of exploring the beautiful coastline.
Thanks for a really enjoyable stay Giuseppi & we hope to return.

I stayed here last Summer and really enjoyed the quaint like village.

It is more relaxed and less crowded than Taormina.

The Hotel itself was cheap and cheerful. Although the staff did not have much English I found them always obliging and willing to help. They even helped me out when I got a jellyfish sting!

The room was spacious and had air con. I would have liked if the sheets were changed more regulalry but that is my only complaint. Taormina is only a short bus journey away and the bus stop is close by.

I think for the price this hotel wont be beaten in Sicily.

We have spend two vacations on Hotel Sylesia and on both times everything has been perfect! Honestly, if we could we would give them six stars!

Hotel Sylesia is in perfect location for a relaxing beach holiday as well as for exploring Sicily (near mount Etna, Taormina, Godfather movie scenes and so on). The atmosphere of Letojanni village is also very welcoming and there aren't too many tourists either.

The hotel is clean, rooms are very nice and well maintained. The breakfast is also very good and always served on time. There are always fresh fruits, warm croissants and good coffee (just to mention few).

What really makes the hotel so perfect though is the staff. You really can't find more friendly people! They really make you feel right at home. We feel that they are not just staff anymore for us, but dear friends who we hope to see also next summer. :)

Warm regards from Finland!

Sini, Miika and boys

If you were thinking of a nice and relaxing place close to the sea, go somewhere else ! Here, you're beside the road, the highway and the railway...and you can admire the huge pylons sustaining highway from your room...what a romantic view ! The room is very tiny, the decor is sinister and commodities are counted ( you have one tiny load of soap and it's not reloaded every day). The breakfast is very bad quality ( industrial products, one kind of fresh fruits, the bread is dry and hard ) and cherry on the cake : the boss is always turning around, giving you the impression to watch you and to count the amount of food you take. More, the boss has never smiled to us when we were there, we could barely hear his buongiorno.
I'm not used to criticize with no justification but this time it worths it as we paid more for this bad experience than we just did in Agrigento for a nice and cheap place.
Even if it's more expensive, go and stay in Taormina that is much more attractive than sad Letojanni.

The cozy hotel is offering good service on Sicilian way. It can be recommended as a good starting point for exploring the eastern part of Sicilia. I really spent an excellent time with my family on 35 anniversaries of my marriage.
