we booked this hotel at the last minute for 3nights. we were absolutely delighted with it.the photos don't do it justice. our room had 2 balconies, air conditioning etc. the staff were very friendly and more than helpful. they have a decent sized swimming pool and the hotel overlooks the beautiful island of isola bella. i would definitely recommend this hotel!

We stayed for a week in a sea-view room on the second floor of this three-storey hotel. The room had the most fabulous view of Isola Bella and the sea, and was airy, clean and spacious.
The hotel was very efficiently run by a very pleasant owner and his staff.
Although on a fairly busy road and near a railway line it was in a relatively peaceful part of Taormina with very good access to the cable-car at Mazzaro.
This leaves every 15 minutes to take those staying on the coast up to the main part of Taormina, and is infinitely preferable to driving (no parking), walking (too steep) and catching the bus (too slow).
The hotel had a private pool which we had virtually to ourselves as most guests went to the beach.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a good quality (if a little dated) hotel for a very reasonable price in probably one of the best sea-front positions in Taormina.
