“Beautiful and easy walk.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2013

Nice relaxing walk with my wife. The gardens are beautiful with excellent views of the sea. It is easily walked in one hour, or you can just sit and relax and enjoy the view of the sea, and listen to the many birds.

“Tranquil and serene. Just lovely!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2013

Surprisingly large and beautifully kept gardens about 10 minutes walk from the slightly hectic main street. balconied terraces topped with terracotta vases frame idyllic vistas of the bay below. In the centre is a memorial listing the fallen soldiers of two world wars and if you look carefully
you will see that each of the trees on the central avenue bears a plaque for a lost man. Just to the side is a very traditional shop where you can get cold drinks and get a sandwich made up to take into the gardens - there are plenty of benches for an impromptu picnic.

“parrots”

inside a lovely garden two parrots are in prison and are the saddest thing. FREE THE TAORMINA 2. A bird in a cage has all heaven in a rage.
