Beautiful sea views and pretty grounds. Gala dinner is a must great variety. very close to main square which had stunning views at night and great atmosphere. Best holiday yet
only downside is some staff come across a bit rude
also worth getting room with sea view as rear of hotel no view at all

I stayed here 2 months ago, its taken me so long to work out whether i like it or not. I think it is a good hotel but not amazing... which is what the price would suggest. I stayed here for two weeks with 10 other family and friends for my wedding and it cost way too much for what we got. That included breakfast which i really can't fault and the staff at dinner and breakfast were lovely. Staff at reception were efficient. You had to pay extra for dinner and wifi... Considering there is wifi available in every bar and restaurant this was a tad bit measly. I have given 4 stars as very good because 3 stars is average but the hotel is neither it is just good. Personally I won't stay here again. It was way too pricey for what it was.

My husband and I stayed for 6 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel . Even though it was relatively large we felt like family . The desk personnel were warm, informed , and courteous, the breakfast buffet was incredible! The central location was comfortable and even though the terrain was at times challenging, we adapted easily and enjoyed walking tours. It is an amazing bargain!!

The Ariston looks out over the Ionian Sea. We woke each morning to a rising sun and each day ended with a view of the full moon. Can't get better than that. The room was clean and well laid out. Our trip included all meals and the buffets at breakfast, lunch and dinner were generous and tasty. The quality ranged from fair to excellent for the many, many dishes we were offered at each meal. The dining staff (some of whom were there when I visited 20 years ago) were efficient and friendly. The ability to sit on our balconey or the main terrace made the most of the late fall warm weather. It was a great place to relax between seeing many historic sites in the area. Some previous reviews mention that you can hear things from other room....this is true. It didn't cause us to loose any sleep but it did remind us to watch what we had to say...everyone can hear!
