“Hidden gem in Taormina”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2013

Having visited Taormina for a few years one of the locals recommended this restaurant. We visited on our last nite and were not disappointed. The starter selection was fabulous and the menu pizza is something else. I had a difficult time deciding what pizza to have thoroughly enjoyed my choice as did my husband. St his pace has prob the best pizza in taormina

“Excellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2013

All things considered this is great value for money.
Friendly and efficient service, enormous choice of Pizze, some nice starters (do not forget to get some bruschetta).
Nice large terrace just above Corso Umberto. One doesnot feel cramped or sitting on the neighbourgs lap :-)
Excellent value for money.
To be recommended if you are looking for pizza.

“Great pizza, great antipasti, great insalata!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2013

Over all, a great experience.

A little bit off the main street, but well worth the short walk up to the terrace.

They were extremely busy the night we were there with every table full and only 3 servers plus a hostess on the floor. Our food came out as ordered, in the order we requested it. The house wine by the half liter was a great value.

Yes, we waited a bit for the check, but that is Italy. They had people waiting for a table but they were not rushing anyone out of the place.

“Seriously good pizza”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2013

We found this place after a little searching but it was worth finding! It's set up high in a lovely old building with loads of pleasant outdoor seating in a courtyard type place. There is also lots of indoor seating. The service was a bit slow and sometimes the waiters seemed a bit distracted however my pizza was divine. I ordered the Alla Norma (aubergine/eggplant). It was very simple with ricotta cheese and it tasted absolutely delicious. I have never tasted a better pizza. My husbands pizza was with parma ham and rocket and he said his was really good too. I would return.

“Fantastic pizza! Service lets them down!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2013 via mobile

Absolutely fantastic food, great atmosphere and a great price. But unfortunately the service left a lot to be desired...and they weren't even crazy busy. We were left alone for long periods, they served starters with our pizzas which meant we were rushed and the table was packed! A bit disappointing. But, the pizza is amazing and we will definitely go back if we return to Taormina.
