“Lovely Lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2013

Based on Trip Advisor reviews, my husband and I had lunch here on a Tuesday afternoon, after trying unsuccessfully to get in on Sunday (which is a big dining out day in Sicily).
Service was comfortably attentive and started with a gratis bruschetta that was very tasty. Hubby ordered mussels and I ordered the swordfish Palermitano, and of course the half litre of house white. The mussels (a mound of them) arrived in a light, tasty broth (hubby wished they had served it with a soup spoon), and my swordfish was a large portion, perfectly covered with bread crumbs and grilled with 2 large wedges of limes to accompany it. Both dishes so simple and so good

“Good pasta--so-so meat”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2013

Service was friendly. The anchovy pasta was very good, but people who had veal or steak were not as happy with their meal.

“Was OK.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2013

First off the English translation said "scallops" but it was really escalope. They knew that there was an error and didn't tell us. After the food arrived and we asked about it they did say they would replace it with something else if we wanted. That was nice. The meat for main course was small and came with nothing on the plate. Not even a garnish. Pasta was good and there is a good selection. Tastes good too. But the mains have poor selection and the plates are empty.

“Tiramisu to die for”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2013

Very friendly people here for our final meal on our Sicily holiday. Free appetisers were a good start! Popular with locals, which is always a recommendation in itself. Menu dominated by fish and seafood.
Desserts were relatively cheap at 3euros each and my Cassata was first class, however my wife's Tiramisu stole the show, as she declared it the finest she's ever had (and there have been plenty).
51euros for 2 courses and a pleasant bottle of local white wine.
