We stumbled onto this restaurant, down a narrow street off the Via Cavour. Lucky us! The proprietor was very gracious -- almost overly so -- with suggestions galore that we wisely were willing to follow. The meal began with bread and a deliciously fruity olive oil, a sure sign of a quality establishment. We shared a stuffed artichoke appetizer, followed by a sea urchin pasta for me and a braised beef for Barb, all very nice, especially he latter two.
Our wine was a Perrugina, a Sicilian varietal new to us, again at the owner's recommendation, that worked well with our meal. So come prepared to be directed. Come prepared to try something new. But definitely, come.
