“Fabulous Food & Cooking Class Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2012

I recently went on a food/wine tour of Sicily. My first stop... a cooking class with Chef Vincenzo Clemente, a Sicilian born chef who spent 14 years working as a chef in Baton Rouge, LA. Fluent in English, Vincenzo has a sparkling personality. He guided me through the local markets where he shops daily for his restaurant, selecting ingredients for our private cooking class. Back at the restaurant, he explained techniques, culture and cuisine while providing a hands on cooking class in which we prepared four amazing dishes, including the most authentic, most wonderful caponata I had during my entire vacation. Taking a cooking class at Cin Cin can easily be arranged and is a wonderful experience. If you don't have time for a class, definitely do not miss going to this restaurant. It's so authentic, his Sicilian mother makes the desserts!

“Fantastic find, off the beaten track”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2012 via mobile

Read about Cin Cin in 'top ten in Sicily' so thought we'd try it on our lady night as a treat, and a real treat it was! Very simple design, small (seats around 20) and cosy. Unusual dishes, mostly fantastic - we both had delicious starters and my fiance's main was superb - beef fillet morsels 'campagniola'. My main of fish of the day was a bit of a let-down as the fish wasn't very tasty (possibly because it was a Monday?). Everything else was wonderful, even the unusual pedals that operate the taps in the washroom! €78 for two starters, two mains, one dessert, one coffee and two beers, a treat but worth it.

“Wonderful food!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 11, 2012

Wonderful, authentic, fresh sicilian food! They use fresh, high quality ingredients to make creative, tasty dishes. The desserts, which are homemade, are also excellent. Try the semifreddi and the lemon mousse.

“Very good authentic Palermo style food and great service!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2012 via mobile

The service was awesome. We were the only people in the restaurant because we were a bit early for "Italian" dinner time. It had a great family atmosphere and they took great care of their customers. The food was very good and our waiter explained to us that it was an authentic dish of Palermo. We had a great quiet dinner and were well fed and taken care of.

“delicious - our favorite food in Sicily”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2012

We eat out quite a bit in Los Angeles and we both agreed that this was one of the best meals we'd had all year. I had buffalo mozzarella with strawberry sauce and the swordfish involtini - absolutely delicious. The place was VERY quiet that night - summer in Palermo, so if you are looking for a "scene" this is not the place (at least off season), but we thought the food was superior. Bravo.
