“The place to be”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2014

It's the perfect choice to experience Palermos architecture and style
The classy , refined place to be
A very exclusive , VIP location , away from the crowd , of course you need to use a taxi or a rented car to go around the city
But you find. Great restaurant at the hotel

This Villa was fabulous, gorgeous, and the service was superb! What a great place to stay and no staff could have been more gracious or attentive. Rooms were spacious, modern, clean, food was perfect, and the staff was better than any hotel from Sicily to Venice. I will definitely return. Oh the Spa was awesome! Do yourself a favor and spend a few days at this Villa!

Up until two seconds before we drove up to the place, we could swear the GPS was leading us wrong. It is a beautiful place in the middle of an industrial wasteland, almost surreal in its contrast. The property is lovely, the rooms quite nice and it has a beautiful garden. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The downside: Unfortunately it does not have a restaurant so when you want to eat in the hotel, the food is "catered in" from a nearby restaurant, which was not great and almost cold by the time we got it on our plate.
No WIFI in the rooms only in the lobby.
By car it is about 20 minutes into Palermo, otherwise you need to take a few buses to get there.

Room Tip: Do not accept the "free upgrade to the junior suite". It is a very small and noisy room a...

We only stayed one night here because we had an early morning flight out of Palermo. The hotel was absolutely beautiful and fully updated. I wish we could have stayed longer. It is near the autostrada and about 15 minutes from the airport on a Sunday morning. They offer free Wi-Fi which only works in the lobby area. Free parking was also available. We had no complaints here.

Spent 3 nights here in September.
Very lovely all round.
The building is gorgeous, rooms spacious and well equipped, gardens charming, and breakfast in the courtyard a real delight.
If you are exploring Sicily by car, this is an ideal base for Palermo. It's an easy drive into central Palermo, where parking on meters is quite straightforward, and also not far from Monreale. It's a very short drive into Mondello, which has lots of great restaurants and makes an ideal dinner spot. It's proximity to the motorway makes exploring to the west very easy.
An excellent choice all round.

We recently stayed at the Villa Bonocore for one night following a long flight from New York. We chose the hotel for the proximity to the airport although it was somewhat difficult to find without GPS. I should note that the gardens that surround it are quite lovely and well suited to weddings or conferences. The staff attending the front desk and the breakfast areas were most accommodating as well. Unfortunately, our rooms was rather strange with the bedroom situated in a loft accessed via a tiny spiral staircase that proved tricky in the dark. The AC was also marginal and the bed was painfully hard...even by Italian standards.
